about

One of the last great shows I saw before the pandemic was when my wife and I were in Paris in the fall of 2019; checking the concert listings from our hotel room, we found out that King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard were playing a show at L'Olympia. We grabbed tickets, hopped on the Metro and basked in two hours of freaked-out prog/psych bliss.

Through its Bootlegger program, the band offers up a lot of its material to be rereleased, remixed, and otherwise reimagined. For this EP, I've taken two tracks from that Paris show, two more from their 2017 LP "Polygondwanaland", and one of their home demos, sliced and diced and pulsed and created these odd little curios. I hope you enjoy them.
